Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sushi Chef to prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese dishes while maintaining cleanliness, and food safety. The Sushi Chef must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and freshness.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, rolls, hand rolls, and other Japanese menu items
- Maintain freshness and quality of ingredients at all times
- Prepare sauces, rice, vegetables, and other prep items for daily service
- Ensure proper food storage and rotation (FIFO)
- Keep sushi bar clean, organized, and sanitary throughout the shift
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs.
- Maintain consistency in food presentation and portion control
- Respect other staffs in sushi and show a good teamwork
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook preferred
- Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and fish handling
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-volume sushi restaurants
- Basic knife skills and fish breakdown experience
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Compensation: $4000 to $5000/month depends on the experience and skill.

Extra puntos si tienes:
- Experiencia en restaurantes con alto volumen de clientes
- Buen manejo de cuchillos y experiencia cortando pescado
Sueldo: $4,000 – $5,000 al mes (dependiendo de tu experiencia y habilidades)
Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
