Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or high-energy settings
- Assist with private events or special functions by serving drinks and supporting event staff as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality, particularly in fine dining or Japanese Cuisine
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Toast POS for efficient order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during busy hours
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and authentically
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing
- Experience in private events is a plus, along with retail math proficiency for sales transactions
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage preparation enhances your ability to serve quality drinks confidently, as well as Japanese Food and Sushi
