The Opportunity
Sushi I is a high-volume, independently owned sushi concept located in downtown Coeur d'Alene. Our operation prioritizes product integrity, efficient execution, and a disciplined but positive kitchen culture. We're scaling our back-of-house support and are seeking a Line Cook who can perform under pressure while maintaining consistency and cleanliness.
Role Overview
This position operates within the hot food and prep side of the kitchen. The Line Cook will be accountable for execution, prep readiness, and station ownership, including:
- Preparing and executing hot menu items (rice bowls, fried items, grill components, appetizers)
- Completing daily prep for vegetables, proteins, and in-house sauces
- Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized station throughout service
- Adhering to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Coordinating with sushi bar and front-of-house to keep service flowing smoothly

Compensation & Benefits

Scheduling Expectations
