Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Prepare and serve sushi with precision, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and safety
- Assist in kitchen operations by handling food prep, plating, cleaning, and maintaining a hygienic workspace
- Buss tables promptly by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area
- Maintain strict food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure guest safety
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate orders and deliver seamless service
- Support catering events or special functions as needed to enhance guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus for Sushi Chef applicants
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices at all times
- Experience with cleaning, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a restaurant setting
- Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
- A positive attitude with enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and teamwork
