Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all guest requests are fulfilled promptly
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for cashiering and food handling
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is beneficial for guest relations roles
