Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including dietary options, to assist customers effectively
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards during all transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation as needed
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and responsibly
- Keep the cashier area clean and organized, adhering to health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cashier or food service role is preferred
- Dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning, cooking, meal preparation, and food handling practices
- Strong knife skills and culinary experience are advantageous
