Job Summary:
As a Busser / Expo / Food Runner at Sushi Den / Izakaya Den, your role is pivotal in providing skilled customer service, ensuring the seamless flow of food and beverages to our valued guests. You will collaborate with the restaurant team to deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service, contributing to a positive dining experience that reflects our core values and cultural statements. Your attention to detail, dedication to cleanliness, and ability to handle various tasks in a structured yet dynamic environment will be essential in supporting the restaurant's smooth operations.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain and support a positive, collaborative culture within the organization, fully embracing the cultural and values statements espoused by Hiro & CO.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and co-workers.
- Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to guests, adhering to the restaurant's high standards of service.
- Perform necessary tasks to service guests, including clearing and resetting tables, refilling water glasses, and promptly responding to guest requests.
- Continuously pre-bus tables to keep them free of excess clutter, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
- Work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, following all health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Monitor guests' needs on an ongoing basis, promptly fulfilling all requests in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist other restaurant personnel with maintenance tasks, such as side work, and contribute to opening and closing duties to support overall restaurant operations.
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide proactive assistance to enhance their dining experience.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions to stay informed and continuously improve your service skills.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a similar role or customer service position
