Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and supervise Sushi Chefs and Prep Chefs- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment; achieve 5-star feedback from staff in quarterly reviews
- Train staff on food safety and hygiene; hold a valid Food Safety Manager Certificate and ensure all chefs have current Food Handler Certificates
- Deliver consistent 5-star food quality and service
- Ensure quality and portion control, manage inventory, and maintain menu item availability
- Collaborate with management to maintain food costs within monthly targets
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen in full compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Head Chef- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment
Salary : $1,200 - $1,700
