What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sushi Chef position at Sushi by Bou Global LLC?
Sushi by Bou Montauk is looking for Sushi Chefs to join our team in late May 2025!
This is a full-time seasonal role, with service running Thursday through Monday, including two dedicated Omakase nights each week.
Compensation: $300 per day, including tips
Position Overview:
- Preparing a variety of sushi styles, including Omakase service, Maki, Nigiri, Sashimi, and sushi boats
- Managing inventory and ensuring topquality, fresh ingredients every day
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Delivering a highquality guest experience with speed, precision, and attention to detail
- Collaborating with the team to keep service running smoothly
Qualifications:
- 1 years Japanese cuisine experience
- Ability to listen to and facilitate special requests from our clients
- Exceptional and proven sushi workspace management ability
- Strength in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to create a positive, fun, and exciting environment by interacting with our clients
- Up to date with culinary trends and sushi preparation processes'
