II\. JOB DESCRIPTION: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\

- Verifies patients identity and physician order prior to start of
- Administers oral and IV contrast media as required for the requested
- Performs Mammograms accurately according to established procedure or
- Completes machine warm-up/shut down procedure.\
- Assists with other department task when not performing mammograms.\
- Maintains accurate and complete records, (i.e. Mammo QA, log book,
hospital MEDITECH computer system).\
- Brings previous exams forward for comparison by Radiologist and
- Obtains pertinent physical history on all patients/exams.\
- Practices radiation safety by following, federal, state and hospital
- Maintains a clear and orderly work area and keeps a needed stock of
- Demonstrates good guest relation skills while dealing with patients,
- Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, along with all
- Reports malfunctioning equipment to manager and call repairmen when
- Files and maintains records for Mammography Accreditation.\
