Our Data
& Analytics team is responsible for the full data lifecycle—from
infrastructure and engineering to insight generation and strategic enablement.
Over the past year, we’ve built a modern data platform powered by Snowflake,
redesigned our data warehouse and reporting suite, and delivered impactful
analytics use cases across the business. We’re now focused on scaling our
capabilities and unlocking new value through data.
As BI Data & Analytics Manager, you will lead the development and delivery
of business intelligence and analytics solutions that empower teams across the
organisation. You’ll manage an internal team and external partners, ensuring
the delivery of high-quality data products, robust pipelines, and actionable
insights. This role blends technical delivery, strategic thinking, and
stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on modern data practices and
scalable architecture.
You’ll
report to the Head of Digital and play a key role in shaping the future of data
across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a cross-functional data team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and optimisation of data pipelines and BI solutions using Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, and Power BI.
- Define and execute the BI and analytics strategy, aligning data initiatives with business goals.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are embedded across all data processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver scalable, insightful analytics products.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps practices in data engineering, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate tools that enhance the team’s capabilities.
Essential skills & experience:
- Proven experience in leading data or BI teams, with a strong track record of delivering scalable data solutions.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and dimensional modelling (Kimball or Data Vault).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience implementing DevOps practices using tools like Git and Azure DevOps.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience integrating data quality checks and unit testing into data workflows.
Desirable:
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with AI/ML initiatives and supporting data infrastructure.
- Exposure to metadata management, data cataloguing, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience extracting data from diverse sources including APIs, flat files, and on-premise systems.
