As a Finance Business Partner, you will…
Due to the strategic realignment of Surventis, a dedicated finance organization is being established. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the local finance function from its foundation. We are looking for a local Finance Business Partner in Southfield, that will act as the central local finance contact for the USA.
- In your new role, you are the communication point between the business units, the third-party business process provider (BPO) and Corporate Accounting
- You ensure that country-specifics such as local US GAAP, IFRS and local tax laws are correctly reflected in the local financial statements
- You act as the local caretaker for accounting & controlling topics, taking responsibility for local balance sheet & P&L
- We expect clear ownership of all local E2E processes, maintaining high-quality standards in the region and being the primary person for compliance-related topics
If you have…
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; additional certifications such as CMA or CPA are an advantage
- 5 years of work experience combining Accounting and Controlling/FP&A in a multinational corporation
- Experience in the chemicals industry or related industry, particularly during transitions or carve-outs, is highly beneficial
- Strong understanding of Accounting and Management Accounting processes, local GAAP, IFRS and process optimization methodologies
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 and S/4, BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SAC), process mapping tools, and advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English is required
