Your Opportunity

Surveillance Security Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Contract Security Officer (CSO) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in security services and customer service. What You Will Do In This Role

As a Contract Security Officer (CSO), you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of everyone who enters the site. This Full-Time position requires adaptability and professionalism with all visitors and coworkers.

Core Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Patrol and Surveillance:

• Conduct regular patrols and surrounding areas to identify any unusual or suspicious activities.
• Perform routine checks of all entrances and exits to maintain the security integrity of the site.
• Be alert to any suspicious activity and report immediately.

2. Access Control:

• Monitor and regulate access to the site, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter restricted areas.
• Verify identification and maintain meticulous visitor logs as required.

3. Emergency Response:

• Respond decisively to emergencies, including medical situations, disturbances, or security incidents.
• Be thoroughly familiar with emergency procedures and protocols of the site and the company.

4. Conflict Resolution:

• Effectively de-escalate potentially volatile situations involving visitors or staff.
• Provide compassionate support and guidance to distressed individuals.

5. Monitoring Behavior:

• Vigilantly observe and report any visitors with suspicious behavior that may threaten safety or pose potential threats.
• Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures throughout the site.

6. Incident Reporting:

• Accurately document incidents involving disturbances, injuries, or security breaches and prepare comprehensive reports as necessary ASAP to the supervisor.
• Maintain precise records of daily activities and security-related events.

7. Safety Inspections:

• Conduct thorough safety inspections of the site to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
• Proactively recommend enhancements to security measures and overall safety of the site.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stay alert and physically able to walk the site for inspections.

PRE and POST EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

To ensure the highest standard of readiness and safety, all candidates must:

• Must possess a current CA Guard Card
• Must successfully pass a physical and mental health evaluation. The job offer is a conditional offer and contingent upon passing pre and post-employment tests.
