About SURV
SURV is a startup residential home services franchise launching in the McKinney and Frisco area. We provide Friendly Help for Your Home’s To-Do List, supporting homeowners with a wide variety of everyday repair, maintenance, and service needs.
As a new business, we are building our systems, customer base, and local reputation from the ground up. We are hiring our first Service Technician, a dependable and open-minded individual who is comfortable growing alongside a startup company.
This role is designed to begin part-time, with the clear potential to increase hours and transition to full-time as demand grows.
Our official launch is pending final business authorization. We are actively hiring now, with the goal of beginning operations around April 2026, subject to approval. This position is intended to be long-term, with growth opportunities as the business expands.
What We Do
SURV offers a wide range of residential services, including but not limited to:
- General home repairs and odd jobs
- Moving help
- Yard work
- Exterior cleaning
- Drywall repair
- Light plumbing and electrical
- Door, lock, and hardware installation
- Fixture replacement
- Trim work, caulking, and painting
- Punch-list and ongoing maintenance work
No two days look the same. Flexibility and a willingness to handle a variety of tasks are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential repair, maintenance, and service work to company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
- Follow company systems, checklists, and documentation requirements
- Take before-and-after photos and job notes using a smartphone or tablet
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized worksites
- Represent the SURV brand with professionalism, reliability, and integrity
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 3 years hands-on experience in residential maintenance, handyman services, or similar work
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a startup environment where processes are still being built
