Job Description
Our client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to join their team in a regulated manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, hands-on role responsible for ensuring product quality through detailed inspections across incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
This position is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing setting who is comfortable working with precision components and tight tolerances. The role works closely with production and quality teams to identify non-conformances, support compliance efforts, and maintain high quality standards. Experience with inspection tools and exposure to quality systems is highly preferred.
This role includes initial training on first shift, followed by placement on second shift, with the expectation of transitioning back to first shift in 3-4 months. Overtime is consistently available.
Day-to-Day
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect precision machined parts with tight tolerances using appropriate measuring equipment.
- Utilize tools such as calipers, comparators, and other inspection instruments to verify measurements.
- Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to confirm product conformance.
- Identify and document non-conformances and communicate issues to supervisors and production teams.
- Support quality documentation including inspection records, acceptance/rejection tagging, and related paperwork.
- Follow established inspection procedures and guidelines for sampling and full inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with material handling as needed during inspection processes.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Previous quality inspection experience preferred.
- No formal education requirement.
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and comparators.
- Experience with CMM or OMM equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and CAPA processes preferred.
- Exposure to quality standards such as ISO 13485 or AS9100 is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and repetitive motion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check.
Salary : $26 - $30
