Surry Village Charter School seeks an energetic classroom teaching assistant who is committed to supporting high-level student learning at the middle school level. Candidates with experience teaching and working with middle school students, and those who possess strong classroom management skills are preferred.
The Assistant will help the Lead Teacher implement the curriculum for math, ELA, SS and Science classes, the Technology, and Social Emotional Learning Specials classes, provide student support during independent work times, and supervise recess and lunch. We're looking for someone who is flexible, fun, and wants to become part of a close-knit, caring, and supportive school community.
