Surry Village Charter School seeks an energetic classroom teaching assistant who is committed to supporting high-level student learning at the elementary or middle school level. Candidates with experience teaching and working with students, and those who possess strong classroom management skills are preferred.
The Assistant will help the Lead Teacher implement the curriculum, provide student support during independent work times, and supervise recess and lunch. We're looking for someone who is flexible, fun, and wants to become part of a close-knit, caring, and supportive school community.
We are currently hiring in both our elementary and middle schools.
