What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Surreal Entertainment?
We want a Graphic Designer for designing new and existing trending products. Job to include, but not limited to, following specific instructions to revise existing artwork, laying out a design in a "blueprint" for licensors and vendors to obtain information from, gather and organize images into a presentation for use of Sales Team. Composing high-level design based on knowledge of our licenses and direction given, and other various tasks. Works under the guidance of the Graphic Design Manager. We work with some of the industry's top licenses such as Godzilla, Disney, Sanrio, Studio Ghibli, Crunchy Roll, and many, many more. Come help us make products that DESERVE to be made!
We are hiring for the following schedule: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday (Some flexibility available)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Revising artwork based on licensor/customer feedback.
- Blueprinting a design into a workable file for licensor approval/vendor use.
- Gathers and organizes images into a catalog for Sales Team use.
- Assist in design ideas for customer presentations.
- Assist with creating detailed instructions to help our vendors ensure quality products.
- Designing high level compositions that convey a vast knowledge of our various licenses.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Strong computer skills (Mac OS) including proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite with a concentration in successfully and efficiently utilizing InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Microsoft Office, internal software systems and Adobe Acrobat.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. (Associates degree would be considered with the appropriate amount of related design industry experience)
- A portfolio demonstrating a wide variety of graphics materials.
- Must be able to receive feedback and accept creative direction from senior team members.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
