Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Respiratory Therapist located in Surprise, AZ. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Day-to-day tasks include administering respiratory therapy treatments, providing care in a long term care unit setting, and collaborating with the medical team to formulate treatment plans. The Respiratory Therapist will also be involved in educating patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care
- Experience with Respiratory Therapy and Medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
- State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Tracheostomy knowledge is a plus
