Duties
- Engage with customers through inside and outside sales channels to identify their flooring needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting features such as durability, style options, and maintenance requirements to upsell premium flooring products.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and deal closing strategies to secure sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist clients with remodeling projects by providing expert advice on layout design, lighting options, and overall interior aesthetics.
- Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the construction or renovation industry; experience in flooring sales is highly desirable.
- Technical proficiency with SketchUp, CAD software, or similar layout design tools is a plus but not required.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of deal closing and upselling high-end products.
- Knowledge of construction processes, remodeling techniques, and maintenance practices related to flooring installations.
- Exceptional communication skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
