Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across multiple areas of the facility.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of equipment, machinery, and production areas to meet strict sanitation protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness in food production and processing zones by following food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other industrial tools.
- Assist with waste removal, recycling processes, and ensuring proper disposal of materials in accordance with safety regulations.
- Support warehouse operations through heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or debris removal.
- Follow detailed sanitation schedules and document completed tasks to ensure compliance with health standards and company policies.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in industrial or commercial settings is preferred.
- Experience working in food production, manufacturing, or food processing environments is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning routines.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards related to food safety regulations (such as HACCP) is beneficial.
- Previous experience in warehouse or custodial roles that require attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be valued.
