We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations across our real estate holdings, operating businesses, and investment entities.
About the Role
This is a broad role, which will maintain accurate financial records, assist with budgeting and reporting, and support AR/AP and accounting workflows across the firm. You will play a key role in strengthening our financial processes and ensuring timely, reliable information for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements and internal accounting reports for ownership.
- Contribute to annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Process accounts payable/receivable, vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card reconciliations.
- Support accounting needs for commercial real estate operations, including lease-related activity, property expenses, capital improvements, and operating cost tracking.
- Assist with tax documentation, audit requests, and coordination with external CPAs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting files, contracts, and supporting documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience; real estate, family office, or multi-entity accounting preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required; strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
- Experience with real estate accounting software such as Yardi, AppFolio, or MRI is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain high accuracy under deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Reliable transportation for occasional visits to local properties or business locations.

- Starting at $91,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus of up to 10% of the salary
