Our Add-Ons department specializes in producing soft tissue components such as muscles, ligaments, and tendons to complement our models. We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team and contribute to the precision and quality of our products.
Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician – Add-Ons will be responsible for molding and producing various soft tissue components according to production orders. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple production tasks simultaneously. The technician will prioritize tasks based on deadlines and inventory levels while ensuring quality control, organization, and efficiency in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Assembly: Manufacture soft tissue add-ons according to production orders, managing multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines.
- Time & Task Management: Effectively prioritize and balance multiple production tasks, adjusting workflow as needed to meet deadlines and inventory demands.
- Quality Control: Maintain quality standards by logging waste, repairing salvageable components, and communicating with R&D regarding mold or process issues.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of add-on components, conducting periodic audits of parts and molds.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams to analyze and enhance production efficiency, test new processes, and participate in monthly goal meetings.
- Organization & Reporting: Maintain a well-organized workspace, track daily production activities, and ensure proper storage of molds and materials.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform simple calculations related to measurements, inventory, and production tracking.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow standardized processes and ensure quality production.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Willingness to troubleshoot issues and contribute to process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
- Production Software Knowledge: Experience with production tracking or inventory management software is a plus.
- Inventory & Quality Control: Familiarity with inventory tracking methods and quality control procedures.
