What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Nurse Manager position at Surgisite Boston?
West Suburban Eye Surgery Center (Surgisite North) is seeking to fill the position for Assistant Nurse Manager. The Assistant Nurse Manager alongside the Nurse Manager is responsible for the delivery of patient care in a busy Ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgical Center. The Assistant Nurse Manager along with the Nurse Manager and Business Manager oversees all clinical staffing. The Assistant Nurse Manager works with the staff surgeons, anesthesia, the Nurse Manager and the Medical Director to ensure the smooth completion of daily/weekly surgical and laser schedules. The Assistant Nurse Manager position reports to the Nurse Manager. This position is a 40 hour position, 4, 10 hour shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, one of which was in Charge Nurse capacity.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills required.
- Professional and courteous manner.
- Committed to team building.
- Ophthalmic experience preferred, not mandatory.
