What are the responsibilities and job description for the RETAIL PHARMACY CASHIER (38634) position at SURGICAL SPECIALTY CENTER OF BATON ROUGE LLC?
This is a full time position. Hours for position 8:30am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. Will flex to volume. Previous cashier or pharmacy experience highly preferred.
- Provides exceptional customer service to customers, patients and family members
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Operates and balances a cash register and ensures accurate payment collection
- Stocks, restocks over the counter inventory
- Assists in answering the telephone
- Performs other general duties necessary for daily operations
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience: At least 1 year cashier or pharmacy experience highly preferred
