What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Scrub Tech/Surgical Tech- ASC facility (PRN, PT, FT options) position at Surgical Specialists?
Looking for PRN (1x a week commitment), Part time (3 days a week, with PTO), OR Full time (PTO, Full Benefits, 401k)
NO weekends, NO Major Holidays, NO Call!! The primary function of the Surgical Scrub Technician assists the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Assures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meeting and Quality Management & Improvement activities.
Job Requirements:
- Education - High School Diploma or GED certification.
- Operating Room experience
- CPR certification
- Strong ethical and moral character references
Preferred:
- Two year's previous operating room experience
- Completion of surgical scrub technician course
- ASC experience
