What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time or PRN PRE-OP/PACU Registered Nurse (NO Weekends, No Call) position at Surgical Specialists?
This position is for a Part Time or PRN Pre-Op/PACU nurse in an ambulatory surgery setting. We are open Monday-Friday and have all major holidays off. We are looking for a Nurse with critical thinking skills that is dependable and can work in a fast-paced setting. Charting is on an Electronic Health Record computer skills needed. STRONG IV skills is a must. A dependable, problem solver with leadership skills is encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements:
- Education - High School Diploma or GED certification.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- RN with active license in appropriate state
- CPR certification
- Evidence of leadership qualities.
- Strong ethical and moral character references.
- Language skills adequate for high –level written, interpersonal and telephone communication in American English
Preferred:
-
ACLS PALS certification. (Not required can obtain on the job)
- ASC, PREOP/PACU, ER, CRITICAL CARE experience preferred.
- Computer literacy
