We're seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Director who is excited by the challenge of creating, leading, and scaling a high-performing sales organization. As the business continues to expand, you'll recruit, develop, and lead the company's first North American sales team, creating the culture, processes, and performance standards that will define our organization for years to come. Every future North American sales representative will report directly to this role, making you instrumental in shaping the future of our commercial operations.
This is a hybrid leadership position, offering the flexibility to work remotely while traveling extensively throughout North America to meet with customers, attend industry events, recruit top talent, and drive strategic business development. Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across North America by generating net-new endoscopy equipment sales and recurring service contracts.
- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve aggressive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Build, recruit, mentor, and lead the foundation of the North American sales team as the organization scales.
- Establish strong relationships with hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), physician practices, and key decision-makers.
- Create and implement scalable sales processes, forecasting, and performance metrics to support long-term growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify new market opportunities, shape commercial strategy, and drive organizational success.
- Represent the company through regular travel to customer sites, industry conferences, and business development opportunities across North America.
Qualifications
- 5 years of successful sales experience within the endoscopy industry, with a strong understanding of endoscopy equipment, service solutions, and healthcare customer needs.
- Proven track record of success in business development, outside sales, and revenue growth, preferably within medical devices, healthcare technology, capital equipment, or related industries.
- Experience successfully generating net-new business and managing complex sales cycles with hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), physician practices, and healthcare organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create sales strategies, processes, and infrastructure from the ground up.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution and customer engagement.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing pipelines, forecasting, and achieving aggressive growth objectives.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience and proven sales performance will be considered.
