CAH- MEDICAL ASSISTANT

CAH-Surgical Clinic-Dermatology- Medical Assistant – Full Time - Day Shift -7a-5p (10-hour shifts)- Req 9196

Pay Range: $17.45-$22.25*

The work involves taking vital signs of patients presenting for appointments at the CAH Ancillary Clinics under the direct supervision of the physician. This position also involves a variety of systematized clerical tasks. It will require specific program knowledge and the application of judgment and discretion in selecting a course of action. Position will assist the Practice Manager with assignments, reports and record processing.

Requirements:

• Medical Terminology.

• Current CPR Certification

• Basic Nursing skills required.

• Typing 40 wpm.

• Data processing, clerical and computer experience required.

• Leadership Qualities and ability and willingness to assume decision making responsibilities required.

• Interpersonal Communication skills a must.

• Ability to perform quickly and accurately under pressure.

• 10. Must possess the ability to interact and communicate effectively with various patient age groups, primarily in the adult level.

• Dermatology experience preferred but not required.

• 1 year of experience preferred. Candidates with 1 years experience will be prioritized when scheduling interviews.

• Dental Assistant experience will be considered.
