This role oversees all administrative, financial, and operational functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering an exceptional patient and staff experience. The COO partners closely with physician leadership to advance strategic initiatives while maintaining a high-performing, efficient, and compliant organization.Key Responsibilities Establishes and drives organizational goals, strategic initiatives, and enterprise-wide operational systems to support growth, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Provides strategic oversight of financial and operational performance, ensuring the effectiveness of revenue cycle functions, internal controls, and overall business operations. Leads the evaluation and optimization of resources—including personnel, facilities, equipment, and capital—to maximize organizational efficiency, productivity, and service capacity. Ensures organizational adherence to all regulatory, legal, and accreditation requirements, maintaining a culture of compliance and operational excellence. Oversees the collection, interpretation, and presentation of financial, operational, and clinical performance data to inform executive decision-making and strategic planning. Develops and executes marketing, business development, and growth strategies informed by detailed analysis of referral trends, market conditions, and competitive dynamics. Builds and strengthens relationships with referring providers, partner organizations, and community stakeholders through proactive outreach and strategic engagement. Evaluates and enhances system-wide programs to improve quality, elevate patient and stakeholder satisfaction, resolve operational gaps, and drive continuous improvement across the practice.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred. 7–10 years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations, ideally in private practice, surgical specialties, or multi-specialty groups. Demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle management, financial operations, and practice administration. Proven ability to lead teams, drive strategic initiatives, and manage complex organizational change. Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills. Experience working directly with physician leadership in a private practice environment preferred.
