Accounting Associate
Excellent opportunity for an individual to join a family owned manufacturing and distribution facility. Immediate full time opening for an entry level position in our Accounting Department. AP/AR duties. Position available for 1st Shift.
Other qualifications include:
§ Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
§ Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in work priorities
§ Excellent communication skills
§ Knowledge of General Accounting Principals
§ Microsoft Word and Excel experience required; Outlook experience preferred
§ Code and review invoices
§ Review invoices for required backup and proper approval
§ Entry of invoices into the Accounts Payable system
§ Research issues with invoices for payments
§ Payment processing: Recording and posting customer payments to accounts, including reconciling any discrepancies.
§ Account Reconciliation: Reconciling customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
§ Willing to learn and assist in multiple areas of the organization as necessary
