Location: Visalia, CA (40 minutes from Fresno Yosemite International Airport)

SAMGI’s board-certified surgeons and advanced practice providers lead trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical hospitalist programs across the country. Kaweah Health Medical Center is a level III 435-bed teaching hospital that has the volume and resources of a Level II trauma center, with 2,200 annual trauma activations and a thriving General Surgery Residency Program. The trauma and ACS teams work in close partnership with intensivists to deliver seamless, high-acuity care.
The Trauma APP provides inpatient, consultative, and perioperative care as part of a collaborative trauma team that includes attending surgeons, residents, and intensivists.
· Provide daytime coverage for trauma and ACS services (10-hour shifts)
· Two APP’s per day.
· Assist in surgical ward and ICU management
· Conduct ER consults, postoperative care, and discharge planning
- $150.000 annual compensation
· Licensed PA-C, ACNP, or NP (surgical experience preferred)
· Strong interest in teaching and academic medicine
· Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
