Location: Visalia, CA (40 minutes from Fresno Yosemite International Airport)

SAMGI’s board-certified surgeons and advanced practice providers lead trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical hospitalist programs across the country. Kaweah Health Medical Center is a 435-bed teaching hospital with 2,200 trauma activations per year, 2,000 annual operations, and a busy surgical residency program. This program operates at the pace and complexity of a Level II trauma center, supported by a co-managed ICU model and robust academic involvement.
SAMGI seeks dedicated Trauma Surgeons to join this high-performing trauma and acute care surgery team. Surgeons will work in a collaborative, teaching-centered environment alongside residents and intensivists.
· Provide trauma and emergency general surgery coverage
· Co-manage ICU patients alongside intensivists
· Teach and mentor surgical residents and APPs
· Participate in quality, safety, and academic activities
· BC/BE in General Surgery; SCC Boarded strongly preferred
· Experience in high-volume Level III, II, or I trauma center
· Enthusiasm for resident teaching
· California license or eligibility
