Job Summary
We are a small family owned and operated sterile compounding facility seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a closed door pharmacy setting.
Schedule:
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- 10am-4/4:30pm(5/5:30pm w/ delivery)(can be flexible Sunday) S, S
- 9am-4/4:30pm (5/5:30pm w/ delivery) M, T, W
Pay:
- $14/hr during training (approximately two weeks/10 days)
- After training-$16/hr
Benefits:
- 5 unpaid sick days
- 7 paid vacation days (after six months)
- $150 per pay period to put towards insurance or 401k independently
Responsibilities:
- Conducting order double checks
- Assisting pharmacist as needed
- Helping with documentation
- Answering phone calls
- Cleaning and passing through supplies
- Stocking
- Packing out for delivery
- Cleaning facility
- Deliveries to local hospitals occasionally
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- No criminal history
- All training will be done onsite
- Pharmacy/medical environment experience preferred
Note:
- This position could lead to a pharmacy tech position within the company
