JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse- OR
This position is 8 hour shifts, no call, no weekends, occasional OT.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The delivery of patient care through the framework of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis and patient outcome) in the preoperative, interoperative and postoperative phase of the surgical patient.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications
- Minimum one year in the OR. Ability to circulate is required, scrub a plus.
- Multispecialty experience preferred (ENT, Urology, GYN, Plastics, Ortho, Ophthalmology & GI experience preferred).
