We are currently searching for a Full Time Endoscopy Technician to work 8 hours Monday-Friday who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. On site training provided. Duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation and setup of endoscopy procedures.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
- Assist the physician during endoscopy procedures, including passing equipment to retrieve specimens.
- Clean and disinfect endoscopy equipment and procedure rooms after each use.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist nursing staff care for patients in the recovery room.
Candidate must demonstrate:
- Knowledge of endoscopy procedures, equipment and sterilization techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate ability to work under stressful conditions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Possess strong ethical and moral character references
- Ability to cross train
- Ability to work flexible hours between 6:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft based programs
Candidate must posses:
- 2 years experience in a medical office, ambulatory center or similar setting
- High school diploma or GED
- Diploma from a CST program, LPN program, MA program and/or CNA program and have a current Florida certificate/license
- AHA BLS Certificate
