What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tech - OR Surgical Scrub Tech position at SURGERY CENTER JV?
NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS
- Under the direct supervision of licensed nurses accurately transcribes physician’s orders, placing orders to other departments by the correct method and in a timely manner
- Courteously answers patient calls giving the patient reassurance and immediately notifying nursing personnel of patient’s needs
- Initiates, assembles, and maintains charts from admission to discharge. Following discharge, prepares the chart for transport to health information management.
- Knowledgeable of and performs computer applications as appropriate to clerical responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate inventories of forms and supplies
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Perform first scrub role in the Delivery OR
- Stock department and OR after procedures
Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
