What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse - Eye Center (FT/OR Circulator) position at SURGERY CENTER JV?
Nurse- Eye Center (FT/OR Circulator)
- Has basic understanding of donning sterile gloves and PPE for performing sterile surgical prep and maintaining sterile fields.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver Nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Verify the identity of the patient, significant allergies, medical history, and surgical location prior to surgery.
- Perform circulating functions such as monitoring, recording, and managing overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Responsible for the readiness of the OR for each patient including equipment, supplies, and medications.
- OR experience preferred but not required.
- Other duties as assigned.
