In 2004, in an ambitious push to bring hospitality back to the hospital, a small group of top Metro-Detroit surgeons decided to create their own surgical hospital; one that provided patients with the best possible care in a small, easy-to-manage environment that truly embraces the best patient experience. We have since become the premier center of choice with 30 surgical beds and 6 operating rooms.

Surgeons Choice Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Controller. An ideal candidate has a passion to serve people to improve their quality of life and empower them on their health journey.
Responsibilities:
- Controls and elevates all function and activities of the Corporate Finance Departments daily operations.
- Manages the billing, accounts receivable and payable departments.
- Assists/Advises administrators and department managers in relations to budgets, cost accounting, and revenue cycling.
- All other financial operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required.
- CPA or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of successful controller or assistant controller experience in healthcare is required.
- Minimum 2-4 years of hospital experience is required.
- Manager Tier II experience is required.
