Job Summary
A manufacturing company in Dublin, Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for testing and inspecting products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met.
Shifts Available: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 /hour (based on experience)
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Measure component parts, assembly parts, and fixtures to predetermined requirements
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures
- Perform inspections and testing on products during various production stages
- Record and analyze test data using statistical quality control methods
- Prepare reports, graphs, and charts to document findings
- Recommend improvements to quality and production standards
- Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing on materials and products
- Enter and maintain inspection data within computer systems
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- OR 2–4 years of related quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to perform inspections and measurements with accuracy
