Now Hiring: Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Technician
Location: Haverhill, OH
We are seeking a skilled Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Technician to join our team in Haverhill, OH. This hourly position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems that support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation systems, including control valves, transmitters, controllers, and distributed control systems (DCS)
• Perform steam tracing repairs and monitor system performance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Use pneumatic and electronic test equipment for diagnostics and calibration
• Complete maintenance work orders safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, and minimize downtime
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on plant equipment and facility infrastructure
• Collaborate with production teams to support operational reliability
• Execute preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment performance
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in industrial electrical or instrumentation is preferred
• Experience in an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial instrumentation, and process controls
• Experience with DCS, PLCs, and motor control systems is a plus
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
