Administrative & Material Control Specialist

Pay: $17.50 per hour
Location: Blue Springs, MS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring an organized, detail-oriented Administrative & Material Control Specialist to support daily office operations at a manufacturing facility. This position handles purchase orders, supply ordering, inventory records, reporting, and communication with customers and the corporate office.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, along with proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, supply orders, and material control records.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
• Use Excel to maintain spreadsheets, enter data, and prepare reports.
• Communicate with customers, management, and the corporate office.
• Process invoices, shipping and receiving paperwork, and other administrative documents.
• Complete month-end reports and closing paperwork.
• Maintain organized records and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous administrative, purchasing, inventory, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; proficiency in Outlook and Teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Additional Availability: Occasional after-hours calls or emails may be required during month-end closing.
