What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper (Per diem) position at Surge Rehab and Nursing?
Surge Rehabilitation and Nursing has openings for Part-time/Per diem Housekeepers
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):
- Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
- Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
- Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in restrooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
- Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner.
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
- Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
QUALIFICATIONS:
Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.
EXPERIENCE:
Experienced or on the job training
Job Type: Part-time (Union), Per diem
Salary: $18.93/hr
