Job Description

Surfside Pools and Concrete is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Crew Leader / Working Foreman to oversee daily construction operations.

This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone who can lead a crew while actively working alongside the team, not someone who simply supervises.

The ideal candidate is organized, takes initiative, solves problems, and can keep projects moving efficiently without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a construction crew daily.
• Oversee fiberglass pool installations, concrete work, pavers, retaining walls, and hardscaping projects.
• Coordinate daily tasks and keep employees productive.
• Pick up, order, and organize materials needed for each job.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are ready for upcoming work.
• Read measurements, check elevations, and ensure work is completed correctly.
• Maintain quality control throughout each project.
• Communicate job progress, material needs, and potential issues with the owner.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Troubleshoot problems and take initiative to find solutions.
• Help ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, concrete, pool installation, or hardscaping.
• Experience leading or managing a construction crew preferred.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor.
• Ability to operate construction equipment and use power tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
