Surfacide is an established and expanding med tech company located in Waukesha, WI. Surfacide’s Helios System uses multiple UV-C light towers after manual cleaning to simultaneously achieve low-level disinfection, killing vegetative bacteria, some fungi, and viruses (including SARS-CoV-2).
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented junior accountant to join our team Full Time or Part time (20 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in accounting with some experience in a bookkeeping or a related role. Those currently working towards an Associate’s degree with accounting class credits are also encouraged to apply. Great Opportunity for the right candidate.
The successful candidate should be excellent at recording data, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and time management skills. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Quickbooks Online are essential to this position. Candidate must live in the Greater Milwaukee Area.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial/customer sales tax exemption records daily
Process invoices and payments
Track expenses and prepare reports for management
Collaborate with accounting team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Provide assistance with projects as needed
Requirements:
Associate's degree in accounting or related field
Experience in bookkeeping or a related role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
Must live in the Greater Milwaukee area
