The Bookkeeping Assistant / Payroll Clerk manages essential financial records and payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all bookkeeping and payroll activities. This role involves working independently with a third-party payroll service to process weekly payroll and regularly interacting with external vendors and clients to support accounts receivable and collections.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and manage invoice processing
- Process weekly payroll as the sole individual responsible, utilizing a third-party payroll system
- Enter and update financial data with precision and timeliness
- Generate and review payroll reports for internal tracking and compliance
- Manage accounts receivable and collections to ensure timely payments
- Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, and other external parties
Required Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll
- Experience with spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets), Word, and data entry
- Customer Service experience and Phone Answering
Surface Renew was established in 2004 to service residential and commercial customers. Our purpose is to provide resurfacing services to save the customer up to 70% over replacement and when possible, complete our projects within 1 day. We have locations in Central Arkansas, River Valley (Ft. Smith), and NWA, and Tulsa.
