Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Purchasing & Data Entry Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various administrative and operational tasks including assigning retail pricing for new items, assisting with new vendor setups, organizing, and maintaining data, and entering and tracking purchase orders into our systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our procurement and data management processes.
Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain retail pricing for new items based on guidelines and margin targets.
· Organize and maintain wide SKU catalog, ensuring all items are up to date with cost components, category selection, etc.
· Assist in onboarding and setting up new vendors, including gathering required documentation and entering data into internal systems.
· Enter, maintain, and track purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Organize and manage product and vendor data to ensure consistency and completeness.
· Support the planning and merchandising teams with ad hoc data-related tasks.
· Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing of information.
· Maintain documentation and logs for vendor and product setup processes.
· Assist with other team projects and category specific tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum AA degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, data entry, retail operations, or a related administrative role.
· Foundational understanding of retail math and business acumen.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or retail systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) a plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills needed.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with retail pricing strategies and vendor management.
· Experience working with inventory and purchasing systems.
· Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
