What are the responsibilities and job description for the STEM + Action Sports Coach position at Surf Skate Science?
Job Description
Surf Skate Science is looking for high-energy, purpose-driven mentors who are stoked on STEM, action sports, and investing in kids.
This role is perfect for someone who loves the ocean, skateboarding, hands-on learning, and cheering kids on as they try new things — whether that's standing on a surfboard for the first time, rolling into a ramp, or building something in a STEM lab.
You do not need to be a professional surfer, skateboarder, or certified teacher.
(Although we LOVE teachers looking for more flexibility outside the traditional classroom.)
We will train you. What matters most is your energy, curiosity, leadership, and belief that learning should feel alive.
At Surf Skate Science, it's not about creating elite surfers or skaters — it's about helping kids realize that if they can drop in on a wave or a ramp, anything is possible.
