Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using OpenTable or other systems, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials, to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food handling and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
- Buss tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed, contributing to overall restaurant cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong guest services skills with a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining health regulations.
