- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards in production and handling
- Assist with meal preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure visual appeal and quality consistency
- Follow food handling procedures meticulously to prevent contamination and ensure food safety management
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, manage timing, and uphold smooth kitchen operations
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable
- Demonstrated culinary experience with knife skills, slicing techniques, and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of safety standards in food production, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
