Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines to ensure efficient cleaning cycles.
- Handle textiles with care, performing sorting, folding, ironing, and pressing to maintain quality standards.
- Manage laundry materials handling by loading and unloading heavy items using push carts and manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly applying laundry detergents, disinfectants, and stain removers according to safety guidelines.
- Assist with the collection and delivery of linens and garments across different areas of the facility or hotel environment.
- Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocol procedures during all manual handling tasks.
- Ensure proper documentation of laundry processes, including tracking items through various stages of cleaning and reporting any damages or discrepancies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
